The PowerScan PD9630 DPX is an ergonomic handheld scanner from Datalogic for industrial environments such as manufacturing. It has a very robust design with dust and water protection to IP65/IP67 and drop resistance up to a height of 2.5 metres. It also has an ergonomic shape and a balanced weight – making it ideal for all-day use and reducing strain on the operator.
In addition to omnidirectional capture of 1D, 2D and stacked barcodes, the PowerScan PD9630 DPX is also suitable for Direct Part Marking (DPM) applications, where traceability codes are applied directly to the item using various marking technologies such as laser engraving, dot peening, inkjet printing and electrochemical etching. Datalogic's patented 4D learning system automatically sets the best capture parameters and decoding algorithms without having to reconfigure the scanner for each application. In addition, the scanner utilises Datalogic's 3GL (3 Green Lights) and Motionix motion detection technology and is compatible with EASEOFCARE service plans.
